We were called to a property on the borders of Blackheath, Greenwich and Eltham where the customer had just moved in. The previous owner had apparently been a builder but thought he was also a security installation specialist, and the CCTV system he'd fitted had huge water ingress. The cables had been routed so that water could run directly into the junction boxes. We completely ripped out the old system and all its cabling - it wasn't to the standard we work to - and started again properly. The new installation was securely fitted with no water ingress and no trunking hanging off the wall.
