We recently upgraded an old Accenta burglar alarm system for a customer in Chislehurst. The existing system had been protecting the property for well over 20 years and had provided many years of reliable service. However, as with any ageing electronic equipment, components had started to fail.

Rather than continuing to invest money into repairing an ageing system, the customer decided it was the right time to upgrade to a modern Pyronix smart burglar alarm system with app control.

The previous system used an older speech/text dialler to notify the customer if the alarm activated. While this was an excellent feature when it was installed, today’s technology offers a much faster and more convenient way to stay informed. We was able to remove all of the old cable to the older panel, leaving a much neater finish. (see pics)

The new system is connected to the Pyronix HomeControl2.0 app, allowing the customer to receive instant notifications if the alarm is triggered, including exactly which detector/room has activated. The app also lets them remotely set and unset the alarm, giving complete peace of mind if they ever leave home wondering whether they remembered to arm the system.
